And since the 60's, backwards-thinking men have reacted angrily and sometimes violently to the idea of equality.

Unfortunately, retrograde thought reinforced by many religions.

I am sure that all here on DU believe in and fight for equality, as do most outside DU. It's just that a little negativity and character assassination go a long way in politics, in its "personality politics" phase that we are currently in. That's where clickbait media make things worse by burying important issues behind lies and sensationalism.

How do you know that they're losing? When they say "Get over it". Then you know they are hurting, so redouble the fight.

I am reminded of the movie "Gettysburg" (1993) in which Col. Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain (Jeff Daniels) and his men control the heights, but are badly outnumbered and low on ammunition. Nearly out of ammunition, they charge downhill with fixed bayonets.

We've got them on the run. Fix GOTV bayonets (ballots, not bullets) and hit them with their Project 2025 retrograde, troglodyte, misogynistic, racist (and more) bullshit.

We can't GET OVER IT.
We can't GO BACK.

TOGETHER, we will win, inspired by Presidents Obama, Biden and their Democratic predecessors. I am especially inspired by President Biden, who set the stage and opened the door for our first female president.
