He started out working at UPS and worked there for over a year, never called a day off and couldnt afford to. My husband had the busiest route and could work circles around most of those guys that work there. After a year, he started bugging them about a full-time position and they wouldn't give it to him. By this time both of his knees were shot from jumping up and down off of a truck all day, long in one of the busiest sections to give an older man because nobody wanted it, and he was at the bottom of the pole, luckily he got his job at Odot a union job and finished out his last nine years there. He worked there with bad knees a few years and had bilateral knee replacement and back to work in three months. 
Hoping for the best now.
