Cancelling my Washington Post subscription saved me $12.00 a month. Guess what I did with it...

2. We were NYT, WA Post, and Guardian supporters.

First the NYT went (my husband's subscription).
Now the WAPO is gone (my subscription).
Leaving the Guardian our last paper standing.

I saw the comments on the WAPO website (and left a scorching one of my own) under the editorial about not endorsing. It was one cancelation after another. Not good when you are a struggling paper. But, honestly, isn't that kind of how Murdoch does it? Sends out his like-minded minions to take down the competitors through a thousand tiny cuts.

Who else do you read? The Atlantic has had some really good articles but don't know their overall editorial bend.
