...the transcript makes clear he was talking about the racist jokester.

He criticized the person making the racist remarks, as in 'supporter's' not 'supporters' plural, saying, 'his demonization of Latinos is unconscionable.

In no way was he speaking about a group of voters or Americans. he criticized one man for his offensive remark.
