(71,611 posts)32. I'm 100% behind the unions and would fully support a general strike.
The corrupt, deceitful, anti-democratic approach taken just exacerbates the appalling malice towards working people inherent in this legislation.
Except for jobs I held while in school and working to earn college fees and expenses, I've never been in a union job. I've always been an exempt "professional" or manager. Nonetheless, I'm fully and completely ni support of organized labor and regard it as even more important today than in the 1930s.
If we don't show the will and resolve of organized labor by having a general strike, it will soon be impossible.
