I told all of them about their main concerns, the economy and national defense: don't listen to the news or either campaign - use their eyes - 2 out of 5 cars out here are less than two years old, and the thousands of homes being built between Marble Falls and Austin priced over $500,000. That's not signs of a bad economy, the stock market being high, that inflation has not only slowed but prices are coming down, that the number one air force in the world is the USAF and the number two is the USN, that the USN alone is bigger than all other navies put together. And the breakfast guys says, maybe we need to cut, not increase defense spending. So who knows, I at least got them thinking and seeing for themselves and not through Fox goggles.
