(5,146 posts)the tents (there were 2 of them) were in place last week. I was there Thursday afternoon last week and the tents were already set up then.
On Thursday last week, there were approximately 15 "Americans for Prosperity" and "Freedomworks" people on site. I had a spirited debate with several of them. (A couple were low IQ types from small Michigan cities who were arguing that this legislation would allow them to join different unions if they wanted to. They had no clue what they were talking about).
Yesterday, there were actually FEWER AFP'ers people using the tents. They only had, maybe, a dozen people in all.
And yes, the one with the NRA cap was there all morning, and he's the one who cut the straps on several poles INSIDE the tent when it started. That got the crowd going.
