I watch a youtube video channel about the muscle cars of the 60's and 70's...... [View all]

.....because that's my jam and the guy who does it, a "Uncle Tony" from Tenessee, is a real old school car guy and an entertaining character. Not dumb, he used to write for a national car magazine, but now has his own shop. Well, after Trump won he posts a video about how great it is for the hot rod and car guy culture. "The EPA and it's regulations will go away". "No mandate to buy or make electric vehicles" "Safety standards will be loosened up to be more reasonable". You get the idea. Obviously he voted for Trump and is a single issue voter. Makes me wonder, with abortion in their win column, how many other single issue voter there are out there and is it possible to change their minds, make them see the bigger picture, or are they unreachable without giving up our ideals? This all in light of the talk about "what does the Democratic party need to do differently.
