In Florida, the networks are so tight that a kid can't get a decent job unless they know someone that knows someone. The only hope for many of them is to get out of this 1984 state to get experience somewhere else. Then they can come back through a national promotion or lateral move. They will also have the experience to give them a chance to compete against the number of older people who come down to semi retire.
