Actual social justice? You can bring voters along for that ride. Americans have shown themselves willing in the past. Sometimes it takes longer than we'd like (I'm gay, so I sat straight on through that journey). But we can get there.

Performative wokeness? No, people don't like that stuff. Not. At. All. It rapidly turns into a "Dear Jesus, please save me from your followers" sort of thing. Even if intent is pure, methods can be terrible.
