Is it me, or are the old songs sung by aged rock stars a slower tempo? [View all]

I noticed it with the Stones and the Who, and now Billy Joel is singing and it's so SLOW....I remember that song being peppy.

(A comment from my inner struggle to determine if aged rock stars should keep going or hang it up)
