Strategically, yeah, it's not a great answer. Biden's approval ratings were (inexplicably) pretty mediocre. She needed to find a balance between taking credit for Biden admin and Democratic accomplishments, while forging her own path.

That's tough to do in three months, but I think she did it to some degree. Maybe not enough, but it's also a very tricky tightrope to walk, as the article articulates.

There are so many reasons why we lost. I'm not sure where something like this would rank. It's just one data point out of many.
