and maybe even 20% considered “Entertainment Tonight” the news.

We are surrounded by people who watch reality shows as the prime entertainment. They never ever watch the news. You referenced EarlG’s post - these are the people who get one or a couple pieces of disinformation via the algorithms and figure that’s enough for them to know. It boggles the mind.
