Back when Randall Terry was rampaging around with his “No Place To Hide” campaign, my late mother in law, an elderly Jewish lady from Vienna, let me know she thought he and his whole outfit were nuts for essentially telling women to just shut up and die. She said that was entirely contrary to the faith she’d been raised in. I had already been pro-choice for decades, but it was then that I started researching a multitude of religions’ attitudes toward abortion, and lo and behold, American Evangelicals do not even begin to speak for the rest of the religious believers in the US, much less the rest of the world.
