(7,215 posts)My family is of Hispanic descent, and although they were all born here, these xenophobic monsters have live amongst us always. They are predatory costing us more for goods and services, or denying them opportunity or paying less and expecting more.
Ask any black person if they've lived without joy in their lives because a bunch of white men killed, bombed, or attacked them in any number of ways. Physically, financially, or emotionally.
I am new to this, 30 years of marriage is still 20 years less than my husband. I'm a white, middle class blonde hair blue eyed women. I know what's been said because they've said it to me, and when these racists are confronted, they walk away in shame.
I hated the public for a long time, until I realized that there is a population that have endured this longer, with no way out. Anyone of African descent.
They pick up the pieces and keep on fighting.
Most of the high profile cases against trump were executed in public by black Americans. They keep fighting for equality no matter what and no matter who. And they do it smiling!
Now, pick yourselves up and fight these bastards along side ALL your brothers and sisters...and do it while smiling!
Maybe this is what need to bring us to a stronger place TOGETHER! working Together!
