6. Clark has never done anything in public service except command military units...

...or take orders from his own commanders. He has never worked in government other than in a command-hierarchy setting. It's telling that he has never sought elected office other than the presidency-- apparently isn't interested in being part of the wheels of government, only the driver. I think that makes him a poor choice. I'd like to see him spend a few years in elected office first, in a setting that requires him to work with political leadership, serve on legislative committees, etc. Personally, I suspect it's not in his temperament.
