only after the "optics" lingo that was reported by WaPo. I only remember Chris Wray testifying to congress about white supremacists being a big domestic threat.

My main takeaway after a few days of reports was there were many moving parts which trump himself had put "acting" people in to slow the gears on.

An IG report four years later is a piss poor performance compared to the actions taken by the Garland DOJ to convict those who, act by act, collectively tried and failed to mount an insurrection and coup for the sake of one man, not their freedom or rights.
Yet everything done up to three months ago -- through 27 District judges and tens of thousands of pages of amassed caseload and thousands of criminal prosecutions, more than any other nation-state's justice actions in human history -- was never enough. In Trump's case the culprit was always, always the courts that allowed extensive delays in the name of "due process" with Garland being the scapegoat for what the courts did.

It's a big country. Big bad projects and underfunded good guys. Totally agree about this IG; he was a colossal waste of money. Maybe you remember, also, how Trump did retaliatory dismissals of a bunch of IG's in 2020.
