it is going to be quite the shitshow for the next 2 years in the House. Assuming the lady is halfway sane, I wouldn't blame her for taking a pass on this one. If history holds, the midterms will be a big swing away from the party in control, so she's looking at 2 years of shitshow followed by a decisive defeat.

Recount? Nah. I think I'll just go straight to the $300K think tank job.
