In that the US has a number of US Troops, Intelligence aircraft, Military aircraft, and a large Military Troop and Naval presence in South Korea, Okinawa, as well as Guam. This could put the Asian Pacific region in play.

With his MN Air National Guard Unit, my husband has been to South Korea twice. The US there is pivotal in keeping the South from invasion by the North, as well as a balancing act against Chinese and Russian Military aggression.
