...the Meech Lake Accords, (I was going to & from Ontario for 17 or 18 weeks, the Maritimes were so concerned about Quebec independence that they were preparing paperwork to become a US territory.
But, that was 35 or so years ago. So, that open attitude toward "Americaness" may be long since faded.
Agree completely on the western provinces. No way they agree to it.
