5. I trace a lot of trump's vindictiveness now to the time when Obama roasted his ass at the correspondents dinner.

Not blaming Obama, of course, but I know that a sociopath like him can't take a fucking joke.
He wants revenge for that slight.
Not the whole story, but certainly a factor.
