...when its own citizens wish or quietly cheer for failure of another group they oppose. Of course, its just now materializing with Democrats. However, Republicans have long since gone down that rabbit hole, remember when they cheered Chicago didn't get the Olympics all because of Obama?

My wife and I are both products of failed governments. To this day, she cannot visit the place where her family came from, despite possible still having relatives there.

As for myself, we were planning on taking a trip there before COVID hit. But shit hit the fan shortly after. I still can visit, although it will be more expensive. And despite knowing the language, heritage, likely getting a visa due to blood reasons, etc. I still won't even chance it. It floors me when people in the USA go there without all the advantages I have.
