First, grotesque of TSF to make such proclamations. It's expected but no less nauseating when it happens.

Second, grotesque of the DC political establishment to treat this bullshit as plausible, let alone justifiable. They're paid well to know better.

Third (possibly worst of all), exceedingly grotesque of CNN to publish such an uncritical fluff-job of an article that normalizes expansionist aggression while apparently regarding these ideas as novel and exciting. "Teases"? Really? I have never seen such twisted self-debasing complicity from the press, even after the 9-11 attacks when W could do no wrong. This article reeks of a terrified news-media operating in fear for its very life, completely incapable of performing anything resembling responsible journalism. In the most generous interpretation, it quite possibly stands as an unwitting plea for divine intervention, yet even so it remains callous, foul, and disgusting.
