the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2024, enacted last December, prohibits the President from unilaterally withdrawing from NATO without approval of a two-third Senate super-majority or an act of Congress. So that's not happening. And if he did manage to get the US out of NATO and he attacked Greenland/Denmark, the other NATO countries would be obligated to defend Denmark. That could get very, very messy. Trump considers other countries to be just real estate that can be bought and sold, but he'd find out the hard way that it's not.
