176. The NRA has practically nothing to do with the 2nd amendment.

It's like saying that if you don't support the National Organization of Women then you don't support the 19th amendment. True both share one thing in common, but the one is NOT controlled or responsible for the other. The NRA merely uses the 2nd amendment as a handy tool to ever increasing profits for weapons and ammunition manufacturers and distributors.

The NRA is nothing more than a lobbying group for weapon and ammunition manufacturers and distributors. The NRA use to provide free training and safety classes for working people but not anymore. They are responsible for the promotion of weapons and ammunitions distribution throughout the US. They wouldn't care if working people could no longer buy guns and ammunition. If their source of money was uninterrupted, guns would be outlawed and they would shrug. They are interested only in continuing their uninterrupted profits. If millions of people, including children, have to die to ensure their continued huge profits, then so be it.

Rubes who believe the NRA is somehow protecting their constitutional rights are quite naive. It's like believing the RepubliCON party is responsible for the free enterprise economic system because they support rich people.
