27. Responsible gun owners are not against gun restrictions. That you think so...

may mean you're just unfamiliar with guns and gun owners.

You're reacting to a situation by blaming people who have done nothing to contribute to the mass killings, because of a THING that they own and, for reasons you don't understand, sometimes enjoy owning. There are gun collectors, antique and new guns, skeet shooters, hunters (a horrible hobby, IMO). These people are, by and large, different from the gun nuts you're thinking of. But your understanding is not required. Different people have different interests.

Not all gun owners are the same. I am guessing you are just unfamiliar and possibly afraid of guns. My grandpa had a gun collection. My brother has a gun collection (or at least he did, before some were stolen). I have a gun for protection. One of my sisters has a gun for protection. My ex had guns, for his horrible hunting hobby. Most gun owners respect guns for the damage they can do, and don't play around with them.

The NRA gun nuts are different.
