18. The post office calls them pallets too.

I've had to talk to a few post offices in the last few weeks. It's a trick getting their phone numbers and an even bigger trick getting someone to come to the phone. But I do remember at least 2 of them talking about whole pallets getting on the wrong truck. One post office told me that all the packages on the truck my package was on were undelivered. And while "in transit," no one has any idea where they are.
