His adoring fans aren’t likely to disperse, even if they can’t lay eyes on the object of their adoration, so they’ll bear the brunt of inclement weather. May this day serve as a metaphor for all the discomfort they’re about to experience.

The inauguration didn't kill him. He got sick three weeks later after running around in the cold rain.
