Taking to X on Friday afternoon, Rep. Jasmine Crocket (D-TX) warned attendees — most of which ostensibly are from the other side of the political spectrum — to consider requesting refunds now.

"My PSA … formal info will be on my official page, but let me offer some advice to those planning to attend inauguration," she began. "If you can cancel your room and/or flight, you probably should. It doesn’t seem like many people will be allowed into the Capitol to see the ceremony."

Crocket added: "We’ve been told that most tickets will only be souvenirs. I’d advise all intended attendees to call the office that you received tickets from to inquire as to if your ticket will possibly grant you admission."
