Where there is a will there is a way. No school should be a hunting ground again, no mall, no subway train, no building, no where. We need to gather like minded people and press those we know into looking at the realities of the damage caused by this weapons fetish in the nation. That we really do not need to live in fear of one another if we choose a different path. The message needs to go forward that that we are not each other's enemy, but family, neighbors, coworkers, and fellow citizens. On a global scale, we are fellow humans and travelers on this planet. Get back to the basics. The political constructs obscure basic humanity. We take back our integrity, our society, our safety through trust, and we talk to one another again. We stop talking through politicians and through lobbying groups. The quickest way I can think of to pull the plug on big money politics is to take the wind out of their sails through interacting with one another in our own communities. I don't want to turn on the television and find my grandchildren's school in the news one day. This is how I can best impact the greater world, I think.
