11. My six year old daughter is in first grade

Let me say this for those of you who don't remember or don't have kids: a first grader is pretty much fully cognizant of what is going on. They would understand the situation perfectly. They would realize what was happening. They make remarkable higher level inductions from data; they're actually quite remarkable; first grade is really the first time I thought my daughter could probably make it on her own if she needed to.

The terror must have been beyond description.

Beyond.

A first grader knows exactly what's going on. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
