If you are afraid of the test because of the food you ate, change your diet, not the test. Seems obvious.

Unless that meal was way out of your normal healthy diet. In which case reschedule. But if it is not uncommon for you to eat like that, go to the test and change your diet.

Dietary changes should not be dramatic or sudden but gradual. The goal is establishing long term healthy habits, so ease into it for sustainability.
