That's not an easy job, I think. The Right has a big jump on doing that. Militias need to be armed and trained. That takes experienced leadership. Frankly, I don't know anyone personally who has any sort of qualification to do that. That's a big problem.

Given the opposition, such counter militias are going to have to walk the same narrow legal line that the right's militias have had to walk. They don't do that very well, actually. Again, it takes experience and dedication on everyone's part to do that. Do you know what to watch out for to stay out of jail? I don't.

And then there are the risks of confronting the other side's armed militia. Are you ready to do that? Since both sides will be armed, there's going to be shooting involved. Are you ready to shoot and be shot at?

See, it's easy to say, "We oughta start our own militia.' it's kind of like saying, "Hey, gang, let's put on a show." Knowing how to do either one is essential. Do you know how to do a militia? I don't.
