(124 posts)75. I would like to propose a very simple hypothetical to you. It's not at all difficult to think about
Your 7 year old daughter is in a school much like the one in this tragic story. A madman very much like the one in this tragic story is about to bypass security and enter the school intending to kill as many children as he can. Which of the following would you truthfully prefer:
a) Her teacher has gotten firearm training and has a gun either on her person or in an accessible but reasonably secure location
or
b) Her teacher has no defensive tools except her own person skills and some desks to hide behind
It really is a simple choice, I know which one *I* would pick.
