In fact it may help him. The current Republican will look at this as political and believe that if a liberal is going out of her way to disparage the guy they should confirm him just to stick it to the liberal. They will do the same thing they did with Pete Hegseth and say everyone deserves a second chance. Before they were saying they didn't owe him or Tulsi anything since they were past Dems. I don't know if Caroline helped or not.
