That is exactly the case but it sadly does not stop the FUD spreaders. Case in point, the insulin cap rumor was debunked here a day or two ago (in response to an OP claiming it was true) but that did not stop others from supporting & repeating it and, even IIRC complementing the OP as his/her post was apparently picked up by some politician or news outlet which in turn was portrayed here as a kudo for DU.

We have to do better than this or we will become our own worst enemies IMO.
