...is that since rethugs are so freaked out about us trans folks, they are examining non trans people and harassing them or calling security.
The recent reports I've seen have not just been butch-presenting women, but Black [non trans] women, presumed to be trans.
(And that's to say nothing about the youth sports proof-of-gender examinations...)

They take up less space and are simpler in design and maintenance -- iow, CHEAPER.

I think it's completely unfair that unisexuals get their own bathroom in places where there are no men's or ladies' room

The local YMCA calls them "Family Bathrooms" and has had them since the place was built.
