11. Agreed. I used to be concerned about enviro impact of delivery. BUT

I see Amazon trucks in my neighborhood almost every day. It occurred to me that there is probably more impact from me driving to the store to get something - if I would need to make a special trip - than to get it from Amazon. Whenever possible (which is almost always) I avoid the overnight delivery in favor of a later delivery, partly so it can be combined with other deliveries in my neighborhood, and hopefully avoid extra pressure on the warehouse folks (by leveling demand).

And sometimes I can only find what I need from Amazon or Wal Mart. Not sure which is "worse" from a liberal viewpoint. My theory on Bezos has always been that he follows the law and isn't as active as some (e.g., Musk) at trying to massively pervert the law to hurt people in favor of his profits (although I think Amazon has gotten worse over the years - but Bezos doesn't actually run it anymore).
