(12,135 posts)"I shop at Amazon" seems to be a trigger phrase on DU for some people.
A few things that I like about Amazon:
1. I don't have to leave the house and go out in public
2. I don't have to waste fuel in my vehicle searching for stuff
3. I don't have to add extra mileage on my vehicle searching for stuff
4. I don't have to deal with bad drivers that are on the road while I'm searching for stuff
5. Amazon pretty much has everything available at one's fingertips
Currently, Amazon is committing $10 Million in relief efforts for the L.A. wildfires.

Apparently Target is now on a boycott list for civil rights activists due to rolling back DEI initiatives.
I need to replace items at times that include clothing, shoes and winter gear such as coats and gloves, shower treads and curtains, coffee makers, coffee tumblers, PC keyboards, household batteries, wool dryer balls, bed pillows, ink pens, notebooks and paper clips. At one time I needed to purchase cat food and cat litter on a regular basis.
I need places available to shop so that I can replace worn out and broken items. Amazon is pretty much my go to store. If other people don't like where I shop I don't know what to tell them except deal with it.
