It will result in higher costs, less benefits, less safety, pain and death.

Lowering unnecessary spending and regulations sounds fine, til you can't trust your eggs and food supply, healthcare, air travel, education, etc...

In the end, they will have nobody looking out for them, no resources to help and no money.
