Don’t we have to win the white male vote before we win it back? Also from the article

This is why I steam a bit over posts here that want us to court the white vote, particularly male, at the expense of marginalized peoples. Trump’s win has been an opportunity for the white voice in both parties to attack progressive policies. I fear some see this as a historical opportunity to shift the democratic further right on social issues. I for one don’t want to turn back the clock while pretending we’re moving forward.
