Trump won 57 percent of white voter support, according to exit polling from CNN, and about 60 percent of white mens ballots, according to NBC exit polling. But those numbers were largely unchanged from 2020s presidential election.
This is why I steam a bit over posts here that want us to court the white vote, particularly male, at the expense of marginalized peoples. Trumps win has been an opportunity for the white voice in both parties to attack progressive policies. I fear some see this as a historical opportunity to shift the democratic further right on social issues. I for one dont want to turn back the clock while pretending were moving forward.
