What is wrong with the American people?

59. I blame social media

Our sense of community is gone. We socialize alone online. We isolate ourselves. I have four teenage grandkids and none of them want to learn how to drive or get their license. Gone are the days when you picked up your friends and went somewhere together. Do all the people in your neighborhood reach out and help each other? Does everyone reach out to new arrivals in the neighborhood?

If your neighborhood is like that, I'd love to know. It would be hopeful.
