It’s a disgusting and tragic saga, and I’m very sorry that he and his family were subjected to scam, the betrayal, and the humiliation. I think he’d be wise to avoid the rehash that would come with another run, as much as it pains me to say so.

I follow Al’s podcast and have admired him and appreciated his work for many years, starting with Franken & Davis and continuing with his books, Air America, his brilliant Senate career, and later solo work. He’s one of our very best.
