specifically addressing the 'one slice at a time' approach. (Well, Dukakkis wasn't quite so shy, but I thought it apropos.)

I said nothing about grenades and bombs, I was addressing the 'slippery slope' position.

“If the personal freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution inhibit the government's ability to govern the people, we should look to limit those guarantees.”

And…
