well said! I went to a birthday party for a gun nut friend...his wife is a very good friend of mine and is brainwashed by his beliefs as well....I was surrounded by gun-loving, obsessed, wanna-be heroes of a gun showdown. They actually talked about scenarios that they have thought of and how unsafe we are at any given moment...even using the room of the restaurant as an example of how we would be cornered should a gunman come into shoot at us! I couldn't even roll my eyes! I think my husband and I were the only two at the table that are not gun owners and believe there is a time and a place for guns, and that life does not revolve around guns. (may I add that the man that he party was for must have some kind of complex, as he is also hugely obsessed with his GTO...just speculation, but what is he compensating for?)
