16. Well, the Trump administration is, anyway

However, there are nine million Americans abroad, and most of us give a more accurate picture of how most Americans feel about both their current government and their host friends in other countries.

ALL of my friends here in EU-Land know and share my disgust with the Trumpanzees, and know full well from me and my visiting American friends that Trump is not universally supported--far from it.

When Trumpanzees come over here, they usually speak only English, and think that the plural of "Nazi" is written with an apostrophe. Many, if not most, Americans living abroad respect and attempt to learn the language of their host country, and respect their culture. We do not try to take their culture over, or impose ours on them.

Most Europeans know who their friends are, and know that MOST Americans ARE their friends. There is no Fox Noise here, and people do get more accurate impressions. Sure, there are the boors who come to Germany, demand beer in English and think it's cool to wave sausages around and make appropriate lewd jokes. But there are Germans and Brits and a lot of etc. who behave they same way abroad. Most Germans and Brits are not like that, and they know that most Americans are not arrogant, loudmouthed, ignorant Trumpanzees, either.
