12. There's a story that when Churchill stayed in the Whiye Hous, FDR cam to his room

when he had just stepped out of the shower and hadn't a stitch on. FDR tried to apologize profusely but Churchill just said "The Prime Minister of England has nothing to hide from the President of America."

I think that may be evidence that the thought never occurred to him.
