13. I'm seeing criticism of Schumer's style, age, etc. but can we look at content?

He used a standard rhetorical format of "Why?" and then answered the question exactly on target.

He reminded us that we were in a similar situation in 2005 with GWB, when the Democrats went to battle for Social Security and won.

He asks those of us who are recipients (and I would extend that to children and parents of recipients e.g. my disabled son) to write to their Republican senators and representatives with one message: Hands off my Social Security.

I can do that, and I appreciate seeing this post.
