15. Rubio could have saved himself a lot of grief

All he had to do was take a quick look at the recent past. Who were recent Secretaries of State? Hillary Clinton, Anthony Blinken, e.g. knowledgeable, respected, experienced, well-traveled individuals, ready to be our nation’s top diplomat on day one. Rubio wasn’t even ready to be the nation’s top water boy on day one. If he wasn’t ready for Trumpsk to keep him on a very short leash, he should have stayed in the Senate and obediently voted for the poor stooge who would now be where he is.
