30. I'm seeing a lot of the same sentiment among rank and file Dems.

That they looked silly, foolish and weak.

Everyone castigated Jeffries for advising against it but I’m not so sure he was wrong. They would have been better off simply not attending.

Democrats aren’t good at this sort of thing. They’re just not. They’re not great at campaigning either. They have a hard time getting our policy positions across because complex issues require complex explanations. It’s easy to simply lie and put on a show.

Democrats are good at governing, the thing that actually matters in all of this. But you can’t govern if you can’t win.

They really need to figure some way to remedy this. It shouldn’t take a generational figure like Obama to win or a Republican to fuck things up so bad that there’s no other choice when the People agree with nearly all of our positions.
